SoleMates train for the athletic event of their choice while raising money for Girls on the Run of Greater Kalamazoo. SoleMates set personal goals such as participating in a triathlon or half marathon event to raise critically needed funds that ensure our council is able to serve more girls in the Greater Kalamazoo area.

You’ll get full or partial reimbursement for a training program or your event fee (based on fundraising tier and completion, see below)

REGISTER to become a SoleMate and submit your personal commitment of $20.
COMPLETE your registration by creating your personal fundraising page (follow the link in your confirmation email).
CHOOSE a race, event or training program you would like to participate in and register! Once you reach your fundraising goal, you may receive reimbursement (up to $75).
* Signing up as a SoleMate does not include the registration cost of the specific athletic event you choose.

Program Coordinator Job Description
Responsible for coordination of the Girls on the Run program in conjunction with other program staff and volunteers including the recruitment, training, communication, and support of program sites and coaches. This position is part-time working an average of 28 hours a week, 48 weeks per year, with peak hours during critical program periods. For more details about the position and how to apply: CLICK HERE.
