Within Greater Kalamazoo Girls on the Run, we also have adopted the following vision statement:
"Every girl in the Greater Kalamazoo area celebrates life by being physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and socially healthy and inspires others to do the same.
- Girls, families and the community view Girls on the Run participation as a necessary developmental step for girls.
- Community and volunteer resources align to ensure quality programming and equal access to all girls.
- The 5k celebration event fosters a culture of movement and community spirit in which girls unleash their personal power to become vital members of a healthy society.
And at Girls on the Run, we're not afraid to dream BIG.
