 signing up a girlAre you interested in signing up for a Girls on the Run or Girls on Track program? Within Greater Kalamazoo, we deliver the program in all interested school districts that have a presence within Kalamazoo County (Otsego, Plainwell, Gull Lake, Parchment, Kalamazoo, Comstock, Galesburg-Augusta, Mattawan, Portage, Climax-Scotts, Schoolcraft, Vicksburg and Athens). Our territory is defined in conjunction with Girls on the Run International each year. If you are interested in bringing the program to a school or site outside of this defined area, please visit our national web site. Details are below for both the Girls on the Run and Girls on Track programs. Registration occurs for our programs several months in advance to allow time to fit each of our girls for a brand new pair of running shoes and to prepare ample supplies for each team of girls. girls on the runBeginning in mid November of each year, area schools and organizations that have been approved as a host site for Girls on the Run will have the necessary registration forms and program schedule. Registration occurs at each site with the help of a site liaison (i.e., staff member at the school). Each site is responsible for collecting the program fees. We are delivering Girls on the Run in nearly 60 schools and community organizations in Greater Kalamazoo this spring. girls on trackBeginning in May of each year, area schools and organizations that have been approved to host Girls on Track will have the necessary registration materials and program schedule. Each site is responsible for collecting the program fees. We plan to deliver Girls on Track in approved schools and community organizations in Greater Kalamazoo in the fall serving nearly 200 girls.
