Horizon Coach of the Year – 2012-2013 Season - nominations due June 15th

Our coaches are one of the BIG reasons why Girls on the Run is so much fun! Spring program participants can now submit their 2012 Coach of the Year Award nominations.  Nominations must be postmarked by June 15, 2013.

Horizon will select one 2013 Coach of the Year and two Runners-Up following the completion of the spring season. Girls can express why they believe their coach deserves to win through writing, coloring, drawing, painting… you name it.

GRAND PRIZE WINNER INCENTIVES: 

• The Coach will receive a Horizon Fitness treadmill or elliptical, $1,000, and a trip to the 2014 Girls on the Run Summit

• The council will receive $500

• The participant whose nomination was selected will receive $100!

 RUNNERS UP INCENTIVES (two selected):

• The Coach will receive $250

• The council will receive $250

The participants whose nominations are selected will each receive a Horizon Fitness prize pack!

Athleta Coach Recognition Award - What Inspires You to Coach?

Girls on the Run Coaches are the heart and soul of our organization. In an effort to honor our remarkable women and men, Athleta will begin selecting one coach each month to receive a $75 Athleta gift card. We encourage you to complete the entry form and share, in 250 words or less, what inspires you to coach. We want to hear from you about what being a Girls on the Run coach means to you!

Each month one entry will be selected and the winner will be featured on the Girls on the Run International website and Facebook page, as well as Athelta’s Chi Blog. All entries will be retained and are eligible to win future gift card giveaways. Please include any fun photos.
